Suppliers: We
use only the freshest ingredients from local suppliers
including meat, bread, fruit and vegetables. Very
little of our raw ingredients is frozen or pre-cooked.
Some of our suppliers are detailed below.
Butchers: For
meat we use RS Troutt in Hazlemere, High Wycombe
who offer a great range of fresh bacon, pork, beef,
sausages and mince products as well as turkey.
Bakers: Our
bread comes from Jungs, the bakers in Beaconsfield.
Jungs are a swiss baker well known for supplying
bread free from preservatives.
Green
Grocer: We
source all of our fresh fruit and vegetables from
Mansfield's in Bourne End, a locally managed farm
based traditional family run company.
Dairy: Our
cheese products are purchased from Blackwoods in
Henley who supply us with cheddar, brie, mozzarella
and emmenthal as well as with thick & creamy mayonnaise
made to a traditional family recipe with excellent
taste and consistency.
Cakes: Our
cakes are all supplied by The Handmade Cake Company
in Maidenhead, an independent baker of handmade
cakes founded 23 years whose cakes have a taste
as near
to homemade
as you can possibly get.
